The Medical Assisting Specialist Diploma Program is designed to prepare students for back office work in physician’s offices, medical clinics and other related facilities. This diploma will provide each student with skills in Vitals, EKG, urinalysis, and patient education and care. Students will also obtain a basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology as well as a working knowledge of the daily function and operation of a medical facility.
*** Note: Diploma Program students will normally register for four courses per semester. Each diploma program is structured so the student can complete all applicable coursework in two semesters.
