    1. Who is eligible for financial aid?
All degree-seeking students, regardless of their personal circumstances, will be eligible for some type of Title IV Federal student assistance.
    2. What is the difference in the types of financial aid available?
The assistance may be in the form of grants (money you do not repay), loans (money that must be repaid after graduation) or a combination of both. There are also many types of scholarships available.
    3. How do I find out what aid I'm eligible to receive?
In order to determine your eligibility for any type of financial assistance, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Once this application is completed and submitted to your Financial Advisor, your eligibility for all types of Title IV Federal Student aid will be determined. Your Advisor will help you set up a financial aid 'package' with the types of aid you are awarded. Once your package is complete you are ready to schedule and begin classes.
    4. What if I need help completing the application?
At Jones College, once you have been accepted for admission, one of our Financial Advisors will personally help you through the financial assistance process. They are available to answer questions, help complete forms, discuss the various types of financial assistance you may be eligible to receive and help you to understand the process of applying for financial assistance.
