4.       Computer Support Specialists

While sometimes a computer systems administrator serves in this role, many organizations hire support specialists to focus solely on helping employees with their day-to-day electronic needs. Whether they’re helping download a new Internet browser, cleaning up harmful viruses or archiving filled-to-the-brim e-mail inboxes, computer support specialists work tirelessly to ensure that employees are able to perform their jobs without obstacles. They receive an annual median pay of $46,260, with an 18 percent growth projection from 2010-2020.

5.       Information Security Analyst

Information security analysts keep digital information safe and work to prevent criminals’ cyber attacks. The information security analyst career is projected to grow 22 percent through 2020, with a $75,660 median annual salary.
